The most significant reason of why I decide to choose France in general and Grenoble Ecole de Management in particular is because it is considered as one of the prestigious school for international business study. GEM is considered one of the Financial Times’ Top 50 European business school and has been recognized by triple accreditations of AMBA (Association of MBAs), AACSB (Association of Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System). This prestigious school would definitely reassure me by offering an excellent program. The Bachelor’s program, particularly, is ranked second in the ranking of Parisien in 2015. Therefore, after I found the Bachelor in International Business program at GEM I realized that it would benefit me in all aspects. After doing some research into France’s higher education system, I realized that France is well known for courses such as social science and art but it is also among the best place for international student to study business and management courses. This is largely because France is the world leading economic power as it is home to many international companies such as AXA, Total, Carrefour, Airbus, L’Oreal, and Peugeot. Due to that, I believe that this country can offer me the education that I need to be successful in today’s business world. On account of the event, GEM offers a wide range of specialization in international business that balance on practical skills and theoretical skills which are exactly what I need compared to Malaysia that are more towards theory oriented.
