Form Output Option

This is a method of outputting SVF reports by using the "built-in SVF output engine" incorporated in MotionBoard.Printers for PDF and Excel have already been set up in advance, and you can output by using a task or a button item. Since you use already configured printers, there is no need for you to do work such as register a printer, etc. With the MotionBoard form output option, all the process up to output is done inside MotionBoard.

◼ The layout for charts, summary tables, maps, etc. can be set up with a drag-and-drop operation, using the editor function inside MotionBoard.

◼ You can output information in the Excel format by this means.

◼ Two output formats are available for Excel reports: the "Dashboard Format" and the "Spreadsheet Data Format."

Excel Report

• This is the format for outputting items created on the board into an Excel file sheet.

• You can output an image of a chart item or a GEO item, or you can also output data of summary tables, spreadsheets, and Gantt charts into cells in a format that can be handled by an Excel file.

• This is a format for outputting into an Excel file sheet any entry that you choose from the data used in an item created on the board.

• You can deal with an Excel file sheet like a form and output the details of an entry.


List Type Single Record Type

◼ There are two types for the spreadsheet data format: the "list type" and the "single record type."

• Output details in a list format. • This is a setting for outputting the data of an entry one item per page.

• It is used when you want to output details of a record on one page.

◼ As you can see in the figure below, you can easily create presentation materials from charts created by MotionBoard by writing the PowerPoint report tag {chart: name of chart} on a shape component.

Items on the dashboard are placed by writing a tag such as {chart: name of chart} as text for the PowerPoint shape of "square / rectangle."

the system administration authority (administrator, etc.) to set up the operational environment.

◼ The case that you want to download and preview an output file.

The following case does not require preparation.

◼ The case that you want to deliver reports to the mailing list.A mail server and a mailing list need to be set up in advance.

◼ You can use an Excel file as a template. If an Excel file is read as a template, you can use it when you lay out an Excel report.

Use of Templates

⚫ If you set up a rough framework in advance such as the colors of the cells, grid-lines, etc. in an Excel file used for an Excel template, you can apply those settings to reports.

⚫ Files with extensions ".xlsx" and ".xlsm" can be used for Excel templates.

• You cannot choose between extensions for output files.

• However, if you use an Excel template, the output file will have the same extension as the template.


◼ You can use an Excel file as a template. If an Excel file is read as a template, you can use it when you lay out an Excel report.

Output Different Content on Each SheetYou can output a different Excel file for each sheet by using the "sheet iteration" function.Ex.) Set different sheets to output for different regions.

In the case that the entry designated by the sheet iteration is different from the entry of the search condition on the board or in the case that a join condition is used, both the sheet iteration settings and the board search condition are used. If inconsistency results from the application of both of the conditions, the output entry of an influenced summary table, spreadsheet, Gantt, etc. will be empty. Also, the execution results of relation will be ignored.

Items can be placed flexibly even in the case that positions cannot be determined when a layout is

set up, using the "item group" function.

Ex.) In the case that the number of data items decreases by applying a search condition, spaces created by the decrease are deleted in the output.

Configure Group SettingsYou can output data with the same entry value as a source when you output entry details,

using the "group settings" function. Other than that, you can use group headers and group footers, and you can also insert the subtotal of each group.
