This guide has been prepared in support of the MOT Supplier use of BC Bid.

1. Suppliers submits electronic bids on the ITT-SCT (Tender Form).

• “Logon” to BC Bid.

• The registered supplier locates the tender using BC Bid “Browse for Bid Opportunities” features and upon viewing the Tender, elects to view attachments or submit a bid.

• click on “Send Me Amendments”. All suppliers must register as a Planholder before they will be permitted to bid or download attachments.

• click on “Submit” to register.

• Go to Step 1.1.

1.1. Start the Bid Response Document (Tender Envelope).

• click on “Bid Response”.

• click on “Create” to begin the Bid Response.

• Go to Step 1.2.

1.2. Agree to BC Bid Terms and Conditions.

• click on “I Agree”.

• Go to Step 1.3.

1.3. Add your Item pricing in the Schedule of Approximates Quantities and Unit Prices.

• Start entering prices into each of the enterable lines on the screen. You can use the TAB key to skip to the next enterable line item. The Extended Amounts will be automatically calculated as pricing is entered.

• However you will need to click on “Save Work” once you have finished entering unit prices in order for the Total Tender Price to calculate.

Note: You can “Save Work” as many times as you want to.

• Go to Step 1.4

1.4. Enter your E-Bidding key.

• click on “E-Bidding Key” and the E-Bidding Key pop-up is displayed.

• Enter your supplier “E-Bidding Key”.

• click on “Submit”.

• Go to Step 1.5

1.5. Once Bidding Key and pricing is entered you are ready to submit your bid.

• click on “Submit Bid Response”.

• click on “OK” for E-Bidding Key.

• Go to Step 1.6

1.6. Review Tender Form.

• Review the information on the ”Tender Form”.

• Use the scroll bar to scroll down thru all of the information

• click “Submit Return” button at the bottom of the form.

• Go to Step 1.7

1.7. Print Bid Receipt.

• Print a bid receipt for your records.

• click on “Print this Page” and

• click on “Print Bid Response”.

• The supplier bid is now complete. The supplier can amend the bid at anytime before tender close.

• click on “Close” window.

2. Bidder Revises their Bid.

• “Logon” to BC Bid. The registered supplier locates the tender they have previously Bid on.

• click on “My Documents”.

• click on “Watch List”.

• click on the Document # in the list then you will be presented with the ITT that you have bid upon.

• click on “Bid Response”.

• click on the last “Book” Icon.

• Do NOT click the “Create” button when revising your Bid.

• Go To Step 2.1

2.1. Amend Bid Response.

• You are now presented with your Original Bid Response document and you will need to Amend this Bid Response.

• click on “Amendments”.

• click on “Amend Document”. If this is not your first amendment then the Next Amendment button will appear. Click this until you get to the Amend Document displayed.

• click on “I Agree”.

• Go To Step 2.2

2.2. Amended Bid Response.

• You are now presented with your New, Amended Bid Response document. The original Bid Items are brought forward from your previous Bid. Those lines that have been changed are highlighted.

• The lines with “No-Bid” have been added and you will need to enter a unit price.

• The lines with “Prev Bid Qty” and “Prev Bid Amt” indicate that the Quantity has changed. The new quantity and extended amounts are displayed underneath. You can alter the unit price as you would on any line.

• The lines with “Deleted” require no action.

• click on “Save Work” on the bottom of the page (not shown in this example).

• Scroll back down to bottom of screen to see the updated Tender Price.

• You will then need to follow steps as outlined in sections 1.4 to 1.7 to submit your amended Bid Response.

2.3. Bidder can see bids using Current Documents.

• Step 2 illustrated accessing your Bid Response “Logon” and then use “My Documents” and the “Watch List” options.

• You can also access your Bids via:

• click on “My Documents”

• click on “Current”

• Locate the Tender you are interested in and then find your latest Amend Number for that Bid.

• In this example, our latest Bid is here. We have two Bids against 80001MJ0009 and our latest is Amend 1.

3. Public Browses Unverified Bid Results.

The Unverified Bid Results can be browsed by the public.

• click on the “Browse Unverified Bid Results”.

• Go to Step 3.1

3.1. Choose the Unverified Bid Results you are interested in.

• click on the applicable Tender.

• Go to Step 3.2

3.2. Review the Unverified Bid Results you are interested in.

• click on the “Printer Version” for a printed copy and then “Close”.

4. Browse BC Bid – Bid Results (Awards).

• click on the “Browse for Bid Opportunities or Bid Results”.

• Go to Step 4.1
