EUROTECNOIMPIANTI S.r.l. , founded in 2000, was born as an highly specialized company in Passive and Active Protection(Coating, Painting and cathodic protection), but during the time an evolution happened and now EUROTECNOIMPIANTI isable to provide services regarding all major Oil & Gas activities. Our company benefits of managers and shareholders ‘experience, operating in Oil & Gas field for several decades, with high quality, efficiency, safety and environmental respectstandards.During the time, thanks to a lot of collaborations with Oil & Gas leaders companies, and thanks to all qualificationsobtained, our company is now specialized in all activities regarding hydrocarbons transport and storage chain, startingfrom pipelined and facilities construction, to their maintenance and reparation.We provide general contracting and construction services to a whole commercial and industrial clients’ range (bothItalians and foreign ones). Our company is characterized by the presence of faithful employees who provide a superiorservice; they are rooted into honesty and integrity’s philosophy as main guideline. EUROTECNOIMPIANTI is specialized into prefabrication and assembly of pipesand special pieces, where high competence is necessary.

During realization of welding and construction activities, an high welding qualityrequired for the GMAW and SMAW processes.

Welding is realized in all the welding positions (6G) and for all the diameters andthicknesses.

EUROTECNOIMPIANTI is able to execute all the activities regarding allthicknesses and diameters pipelines’ construction, for the fluid transport, suchas oil, gas and water, and made up by all steels kinds.

The principal EUROTECNOIMPIANTI’s activities are:

Bending, Manual and Automatic welding, Sandblasting, Coating, Painting,Cathodic Protection and Hydraulic test.

EUROTECNOIMPIANTI performs extensions to urban and extra-urban gasdistribution networks. Mainly steel pipes and high density polyethylene pipes,known as PEAD, are used.

Generally the steel pipes are connected by electrode welding, the polyethyleneand PEAD pipes through a fusion welding of material (electro-welding).

EUROTECNOIMPIANTI performs the assembly of the pipes. In a districtheating system the heat is distributed to the buildings through anetwork of pipes that transports hot water or steam.They are insulated steel tubes that are connected by electrode welding(Tig and Basic).

EUROTECNOIMPIANTI is specialized into coating and painting activities. Severalkinds of coating are issued to protect welded joints, but the most used is theapplication of thermo-shrinkable sleeves, which are made of the same materialof the pipe’s original coating (PE, PPE…).

In the confined areas and difficult access zones, the most used kind of coating isairless or brush application of thermosetting resin to protect welded joints.

Coating activity is essential to protect by corrosion, welded joints for a longtime.

Passive protection (Coating and/or Painting)

EUROTECNOIMPIANTI is specialized into active protection (cathodic and/or electrical)activity. This is an electrochemical technique to protect by corrosion, metallic structureswhich may be damaged by exposition to an electrolyte environment (such as ground,water, salt, chemical substances, etc...).

When is it convenient?

Using active protection is convenient when the metallic structure has an original dielectriccoating( passive protection) , because in this case , active protection must only completethe protection by corrosion, offered by the original coating , with limited costs.

So it’s easy to understand that applying cathodic protection on not coated pipes (ex…steel) is not convenient , because installation and exercise may be so expensive andyou could not reach the right protection level.

The principal phases of an on/offshore hydrostatic test are : Pipes’ cleaning, Pipes’ filling with water,Hydraulic Test and the pipes’ discharge. For all these activities, EUROTECNOIMPIANTI uses specificengines and equipment and highly skilled staff.

We have the best instrumentation on the market such as : hydrostatic scales, manometers, pumps,compressors, probes, and recorders …etc..

Every activity is effectuated according with references specifications of the client and according withthe regulations in force.

Thanks to the presence into Oil & Gas sector since 2000, EUROTECNOIMPIANTI nowdispose of a database of almost 2000 skilled workers.

The EUROTECNOIMPIANTI’ s available staff is composed by: Site managers, Technicians,Foremen , Welders , Pipe fitters , Pipe Fitters’ helpers , Engine’s operators , Coaters andSandblasters.

Thanks to our company’s experience, all these workers have been tested and qualified onseveral yards and for several times.

We can guarantee their proficiency, their technical ability and their reliability.

Our company operates in particularly on foreign markets: AFRICA (where we have a branchAlgerian and a Moroccan society), in MIDDLE-EAST and in CENTRAL AMERICA.

EURTECNOIMPIANTI deals with production, sale and rental of induction preheating coils (FALCON SMODEL). We produce coils with several diameters, starting from DN 80 mm (3 inches) to DN 1400 mm(56 inches).

Our coils have been projected to preheat steel pipes both outdoor and indoor. FALCON S coils can reacha steel temperature range of 0 to 600° C.

The basic working principle is induction-heating principle, generated by an electrical flux running insidecopper coils, which wrap around the steel pipe.

Preheating coils’ use, is necessary both in the welding and in the sandblasting/ coating phase.

Our company can also sell or rent complete induction systems including:

EUROTECNOIMPIANTI rents a wide range of tractors outfitted for welding and sandblasting(PAYWELDERS and AUTOMATIC WELDING MACHINES) to all the Oil & Gas companies whoneed them to complete their projects.

We have modern equipments and perfectly serviceable for the kind of job they mustmake.

Ore PAYWELDERS are outfitted with two welding machines (Miller brand); they can host 2welders working at the same time.

Even more, our tractors have an electrical panel with several voltage (220V/72V/48V).

Someone is equipped also with lifting crane.
