MOROCCAN CRISIS 1 AND 2
1st Moroccan crisis 1905-06 Wilhelm sent troops to morocco
which was heavily influenced by France.
Bulow challenged France and hoped to reveal flimsy relations between France and Britain.
At the international conference Russia and Britain supported French influence in Morocco.
1st Morocco Crisis
Germany became diplomatically isolated between Russia, Britain and France.
Germany therefore strengthened relations between France and Britain (Anglo – French Entente)
Britain saw Germany a threat to its Empire and Europe
2nd Moroccan Crisis 1911
France wanted Morocco as part of its Empire
Germany would accept this if France gave them territory in Africa wanted whole of French congo
German foreign minister sent a gun boat to Morocco to show that Germany wouldn't be ignored and protect German nationals

Britain stood by France and told Germany they were ready for War
Confirmed Britain's suspicions of Germany
Germany accepted part of Congo Kiderlen Germany foreign minister
diplomacy plan was to create tensions with France and Britain and succeeded
