ADVISERTRAININGWe believe in yearbooks, and we know the value of the whole yearbook culture. You will leave the workshop with your finalized ladder, design style, deadline submission plan, marketing plan and everything you need to get ready for a new year of yearbook.
YEARBOOK101So you’re new to staff. Do you know what a pica is? (That’s PIE’ka). In two days you’ll be in-the-know about picas and all yerd vocabulary. We’ll teach you basic design, copy and caption writing and photography. You will get a taste of desktop publishing when you construct your first layout
YEARBOOK102If you already know the basics, you can take your skills to the next level with grids, mods, contemporary typography and white space. You’ll learn to identify graphic elements that will build a consistent look as you design multiple spreads for your yearbook. We’ll challenge you to design layouts that can be adapted to any section of the yearbook.
EXPRESS!In two days we will go over theme, design, interviewing, copy and caption writing, photography and photoshop, team bonding, marketing and sales, and rev your staff up to start the year in the right direction!

FIRST ANNUALNFHS NETWORK BROADCAST ACADEMYThe Academy is designed for student broadcasters to hear from successful sports broadcasters from major networks, develop skills through hands-on broadcast training sessions and be recognized for their accomplishments during the first annual NFHS Network Broadcast Academy Awards Ceremony. Academy attendees will also attend an Atlanta Braves game and will be able to share best practices and experiences with other student broadcasters from other schools across the country.
