Supersport: Anthony RoblesHeight: 5-8 Weight: 125 Hometown: Mesa, Ariz. Anthony Robles’ world was rocked in the very beginning. He was born with only one leg. But the determined grappler refused to let life’s blow pin him down. Instead, he did the pinning. In March, the Arizona State senior won a national wrestling championship in the 125-pound weight class. With a never-give-up spirit, Robles started wrestling in
high school and won two Arizona state titles. College presented a bigger challenge, but not too big for the “Rasslin” Robles. Tougher than a cactus, he carved records of 25-11, 29-8, 32-4 and 36-0 in four seasons with the Sun Devils. Robles plans to become a motivational speaker — and what a story he has to tell.
