The School of Law has specifically designed three differentIntegrated Bachelor Degree Honors Programs, viz., B.A.,LL.B. [Hons.], BBA. LL.B. [Hons.], and B.Com. LL.B. [Hons.] toprepare legal professionals for the diverse contexts. Thecurriculum includes courses on personal and professionalskill development like Professional Communication(including courses in general and legal English),Researching and Reasoning Skills, Advocacy Skills, andDrafting Skills. All such skills are refined through MootCourts, Mock Trials, Legal Aid Clinics, and Internships thatare conducted in compliance with the requirements of theBar Council of India. It is also a center for Post-GraduateLegal Studies offering One Year LL.M. in Technology Law,Intellectual Property Law and Gender Studies, suitingrequirements of the Bench and Bar and cutting edgeresearch in contemporary areas.

ABOUT MOOT COURTASSOCIATION

The Moot Court Association [MCA] of the School of Law,Presidency University Bengaluru was established inthe year 2015 with the view to promote oral advocacyskills and legal writing techniques. The foremostendeavor of the MCA is to develop and encouragemooting. MCA with active association and guidance ofthe Bar Council of India hosted the 1st National MootCourt Competition - the 32nd All India Inter UniversityNational Moot Court Competition which was held on5th – 7th March 2016. The 2nd National Moot CourtCompetition on Sports Law was held on 11th - 13thApril, 2018. Last year the School of Law with the helpof MCA hosted their 3rd National Moot CourtCompetition on Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code from11th to 13th April. MCA has actively conducted eventssuch as Intra-Moot Court, Novice Moot Court andIntra-Trial Advocacy Competitions to promote thespirit of mooting amongst the students.

TEAM COMPOSITION :

Each participating University/College/Institute cannominate a team consisting of maximum three and

minimum two student members. Moot Proposition, Rulesand Regulations, Registration Form, and Registration Fee

are announced on various websites.
