Key Knowledge and Facts A human geographical feature is one that has been
made by a person such as a house, road. A physical geographical feature is a natural feature
such as a tree. A bird’s eye view is a view from the perspective of a
bird looking down on a thing or place. Birds eye view can help us find things out about a
place, such as where landmarks are located. The words up, down, left and right, help us direct a
person to a certain place. The words north, east, south and west refer to the
points of a compass which help us when moving from place to place, especially when using a map.
