SHANE MOORE
Managing Director
Areas of expertise: IP, trademark and brand strategy. Major IP litigation and disputes. IP mediation. IP audits and due diligences.
Shane founded Moore Attorneys in 2002 as a niche IP, trademark and brand protection law fi rm. In addition to being Group Counsel of a large multinational company, he has practiced extensively in IP in South Africa and in Europe.
HANS MUHLBERG
Expert Counsel: IP and Trademarks
Areas of expertise: Complex opinion work. IP audits and due diligences. IP Mediation.
Hans is very well known, and highly regarded in IP circles. He writes extensively on IP matters and is the author of the well-known book, The Law of the Brand. In addition to being a qualifi ed SA attorney, he is also a qualifi ed UK and European trademark attorney. He deals with complex opinion work, IP audits and due diligences, as well as IP mediation.
TYRONE WALKER
Director & Head: Litigation and Brand Enforcement
Areas of expertise: Trademark, brand, copyright, company and domain name litigation. Advertising law and website disputes.
Tyrone began his career at Moore Attorneys in 2007 and completed his articles at the fi rm. He is currently the Head of Litigation and assists the fi rm in the enforcement of clients’ brands/trademarks in Africa and worldwide. He has a tangible passion for IP and has assisted the likes of Sappi and The Sunday Times in regaining various domain names. Tyrone has recently lodged and defended numerous advertising complaints for major corporations such as BARCLAYS and PG GROUP.
TAMMI MORGAN

Areas of expertise: Searching, fi ling and prosecution of trademarks in Africa
Tammi has extensive experience in searching, fi ling and prosecution of trademarks in Africa, for some of the world’s largest companies and brands.
CARYN GRICE
Section Head: Trademark Prosecution and Assignments
Areas of expertise: Filing, prosecution and assignment of trademarks in South Africa and worldwide.
Caryn has particular expertise in fi ling, prosecuting and ensuring the successful registration of trademarks in South Africa and worldwide. She has assisted many of the fi rms’ clients in the successful rollout and protection of their brands on a worldwide basis. Caryn is also responsible for all trademark and IP assignments.

Debbie is responsible for the overall management of the systems and processes relating to IP administration, in particular the advertisement through to registration of trademarks, as well as renewals.

Lerato assists the Litigation Department in the enforcement of global brands in Africa and worldwide. Lerato has particular expertise in conducting brand use investigations and anonymous approaches for domain names.

Areas of expertise: Brand Strategy and Communication
Antoinette heads up the Brand Strategy and Communication Department and is responsible for corporate communication and presentations, as well as public enterprise IP management.

Thuli deals with the searching, registration and renewal of domain names, as well as domain name audits and reports.
