Healing hearts around the world– one audience at a time –

‘a fish story’

After his sudden death, a devoted father’s search for heaven brings him back to his distraught family and his wilderness fishing camp for a few precious days in the body of a wanted man.

This film is based on a true story about my family and the death of my father - with a little ‘wouldn’t it be wonderful if ’ thrown in the mix. I set out to make a movie to honor my father - a film about family, hope, love, guilt, faith and redemption. It is not a religious film but it’s a spiritual one - a movie with no sex, no violence, no blood, no nudity, and no bad language. An uplifting, ‘feel good’ movie with a moral compass - a family film about ‘letting go’ with a wonderful message.

“Making the movie was my catharsis but I have come to realize it has also become a story for everyone who has ever lost a loved one. In some magical and beautiful way, this film lifts you up, it gives you hope, and it inspires you to heal.”

- Sam Roberts (Writer/Producer/Co-Star)

It is my sincerest hope you will join me for the screening of ‘a fish story’ - Q&A to follow.
