This session will be useful for those tutors/teachers who are just beginning to prepare and design Moodle courses for their online delivery. You will have a chance to talk to experienced designers and be enrolled in a Moodle Basics Sandpit course at CoachCarole.net to practice.

Moodle developer – learn how to populate a Moodle course with:

• learning objects

• books

• pages

• forums and

• assignments

This session will be useful to those tutors/teachers who are ready to create the content for their Moodle courses and are looking for best practice examples. You will have a chance to discuss development strategies with experienced Moodle developers.

Moodle facilitator – learn how to:

• create a sense of online presence

• manage the Moodle course

• track learners and

• facilitate the learning process

This session will focus on the facilitation strategies used by experienced Moodlers and will enable you to discuss the finer points of using appropriate Moodle tools to enhance your facilitation.
