Meanings behind the photos

My mood board has many photos of bands and artists that suit the genre of a rock/punk pop music magazine. I have included these photos as they will attract teen and adults of all genders as they are more likely to buy the magazine if they recognise or identify with the person in the main image. I have also included front covers of mainstream music magazines which are targeted toward fans of rock and punk pop music, many of these have a rebellious and out there attitude to fit the genre. I have also included images of people in the colours and styles I think would fit the style of my magazine. The front covers of magazines also has helped give me an idea of the typical conventions of a front cover and the text used on a front cover in cover lines, promotions, strap lines etc.
