Mood BoardThis is my Mood Board of my favourite CD covers, I am going to pick my four favourite CD covers and talk about the main elements of the CD covers, such as how the were represented and presented, if they appear on the CD cover, and how the image and language ties in with the band.

This artist is shown on the CD cover, she is dressed up and sitting on a chair with a sunset in a background, also the colours and the style of writing is ‘funky’ and ‘night club’ looking which is like style of music. She is represented as a ‘sex symbol’, you can see this from how she is positioned on the chair, and how she is dressed.

This artist is shown on the CD cover, he is dressed casually looking down at the camera, the colours are bright and ‘qwerky’ looking – like his music style. He is represented as a ‘muck around’ kind of lad, which you can see in this cover from how he is acting.

On this CD cover the band is not shown, just the band name and the album name. The background is in space, but the title is ‘Stadium Arcadium’ which doesn't really go with the space background - you could say that the ‘difference’ fits in with the image of the band.

On this CD cover the bad is not shown, but there is a woman and an animal on it, this woman could be seen as a ‘sex symbol’ and could appeal to a male audience. The CD covers writing varies from the band name and the album name, the band name is blocky but the album name is fancy, this cold she that they do a contrast of music styles.
