• Developing a MOOC – short video
• What will a UoL MOOC look like?
• Example MOOC – MOOC1
• Content production
This short video from the OU provides an overview of developing a MOOC.
What will a UoL MOOC look like?
Consistent look and feel across all courses.
Each MOOC will have:
•a ‘thumb-nail’ image that includes the UoL logo•a trailer that incorporates elements from the image•the trailer will incorporate a ‘common voice’ as well as the academic voice•all courses will incorporate the common voice for general information, instructions etc.
Examples from Coursera:
1.Trailer
2.Central core of activities usually involving audio, video or textual information
3.Additional access to related information and reinforcement activities
4.Social learning
5.General and academic skills support
