UPDATE ON TB TESTING PROCESS
A nurse has to administer the risk as-
sessment questionnaire in person. This
began on August 31st. Our district
nurse (Tina), will be available the last
Wednesday of every month from 3-
4pm in the student services office. Any-
one needing a TB test can drop in dur-
ing that time for her to administer the
questionnaire. Please come in when
you get your first reminder 3 months
before it expires, so that you have
enough time to obtain a test should
you not pass the questionnaire. The
dates will be:

November 30 March 29
December 14 April 26
January 25 May 24

Ms. Whalen’s class field trip to Durham Ferry Outdoor Education
Center.
Students will hike along trails in the natural ecosystem and make
observations outside.
Students will be leaving campus at 8:30 and returning at 2:30pm. Please be sure
to pack a brown bag lunch for your student.

speech therapy services the week of par-
ent teacher conferences from 10/17/16
~ 10/21/16. Ms. Martin will be conduc-
tion Kindergarten screenings during that
time. Regular speech therapy sessions
will resume the week of 10/24/16.

The date of the Fall Parade will be the last Friday of the month on Octo-
ber, 28th at 8:30am on the big playground yard. All are invited to
attend!
Student’s may wear costumes over their clothes.
Students may not wear scary masks.
Please no weapons allowed with any costume.
This is a reminder that students are not allowed to bring candy to
school in their home lunches.
Student’s may not wear costumes on Monday, October 31st.

ORDER FORM
This is the order form for the 2016 ~ 2017
yearbooks. Please fill out the information and have your child return
the bottom portion along with payment to their teacher. If you will be
paying by check, please make the check payable to Monticello School.
If you are paying cash, please have correct change as we do not keep
change in the office.
Our yearbooks will be HARD COVER with FULL COLOR versus a
soft cover as in previous years. The price will be $22.00 until De-
cember 16th. As of January 3rd the cost will be $25.00 per book.
We will be pre-ordering our Monticello Yearbook’s. There will be a
limited supply, so don't hesitate …… get your yearbook order in today
to reserve your Monticello Memories !!!!
