Discount: Small Changes’ wholesale prices are generally based on a 25% discount off the retail prices; a few mass market magazines are at a 20% discount. We offer a book discount on a few of our titles. A magazine with a book discount (40%) has a percent (%) sign to the right of the wholesale price on the invoice.
RDA: There is a new column on your invoice labeled $RDA. RDA stands for the Retail Display Allowance that accompanies certain mass-market titles. This column lists the RDA per copy, typically 10% of the retail price (or 3.5% in the case of People magazine), that is passed on to you from the pub-lisher. The wholesale price listed on your invoice includes the RDA.
Restocking : Small Changes can restock sold-out issues on a weekly basis, provided we have inventory on hand. Restock requests received after your order has been processed will be filled on the following shipment.
Returns: All unsold magazines may be returned for full credit. Returns are due within 60 days after you receive the next issue of that title or within 60 days of cancelling a title from your standing order. Please refer to your Monthly Report for titles which have become inactive. No credit will be issued for late returns. The Returns Worksheet and the Monthly Report indicate the category of return for each magazine.
There are two categories of returns: • Full Front Cover: The full front cover must be intact and include the issue date, retail price and UPC.
• Whole Copy: Must be in resaleable condition and may not be stripped or damaged. Whole copy titles are marked on your order form and invoices with a star (*).
Please send all returns with the Small Changes Magazine Returns Worksheet, which is included with each shipment. Please do not subtract your returns from your bill because we must approve your returns. You will be credited on a separate credit invoice. Please send returns and payment to our post office box listed below.
