Protection LEP – KPK:

The duration of the project 'Livelihood

Enhancement and Protection' is from

March 2013 to June 2014 with total target

of 510 participants. A total of 47

participants trained in the month of April;

rounding to a total of 478 (94% of total)

participants trained to date.

Next month's planning includes the

training of 32 participants.

Nukari ya Karobar Project – PPAF:

The duration of Nukari ya Karobar project

is from February 2014 to June 2014. In

this project 200 participants, across the

four provinces of Pakistan, will be given

training on Managing Naukri ya Karobar

Center. Around 104 participants have

been trained to date, of them 46 were from

Bahawalpur, 24 were from Karachi and 34

were from KP.

Following two training events are

planned for the month of May 2014;

1. Training on Managing MIS for

NyK representatives-1

2. Training on Managing MIS for

NyK representatives-2

Credit Appraisal & Recovery

Technique – PPAF:

The Credit Appraisal & Recovery

Technique project was initiated in the

month of February 2014 with total target of

200 beneficiaries. The project covers

different areas of KP, Punjab and Sindh. A

total of 61 participants have been trained to

date.

Next month's planning includes two

training events on Credit Appraisal &

Recovery Technique that will be held in

Multan and Tharparker respectively.

Youth Economic Empowerment

Project:

As part of the project deliverables, MoU

with local enterprises and employers was

signed, IEC material was developed, 26

participants were provided job placement,

4 trained youth were supported financially

and 20 participants were provided

toolkits. Moreover, other activities of

YEEP Chakwal includes meeting with

Plan Partner organization Bedari

regarding integration of activities such as

awareness messages dissemination on FM

88, Quarterly meeting with Plan and its

other implementing partners in Chakwal,

29 participants are enrolled and will

complete their training in the month of

May 2014 in the similar trade.

FATA-DA Entrepreneurship Training:

The project was

started in January 2013 with a total target

of 5,600 youth that would be trained till

December 2016.

Next month's planning includes the

training of 75 participants.

The project achievements in the month of

April includes the training of 75

participants; rounding to a total of 1,820

participants trained to date. This project

aims to provide an opportunity to the

trained FATA youth, who have gained

experience through Field Internship Pro-

gram, in setting up their own business or

getting employment.

Enhancing Quality Access to TVET for

Employability - IRC:

IRC funded a project to IRM that was

started in the month of March 2014. Out of

a total of 118 beneficiaries, 69 participants

were trained during the month of April

2014; of them 20 were enrolled in Mobile

Repairing, 20 were enrolled in Dress

Designing and 29 were enrolled in building

electrician.

Programme (TRDP):

TRDP funded one month vocational

training project to IRM with total target of

48 participants, out of which 19

participants have successfully completed

Mobile Repairing Training, while the rest

through YEEP and monitoring visit to

Sanat Zar, VTI, New Awan Heavy

Machinery Training Centre and Global

Survey College.

Planning for the month of May 2014

includes women friendly workplace

session with employers, meetings with

Employers and TVETs, capacity

building of selected TVET, and financial

support and provision of toolkits to the

trained youth.

Livel ihood Enhancement and

Protection LEP – Badin:

A total of 108 participants were trained in

different vocational trades during the

month of April 2014, rounding to a total

of 1,402 (58% of total) participants

trained to date. The duration of project is

from November 2013 to June 2014 with a
