Dear parents: We hope everyone has had happy holidays together with their family. In this month of January we want to start with a brief review of the topics seen through this project called "The senses". Thanks to the sensory stimulation provided by the senses, children develop skills that allow them to observe and explore what surrounds them. Likewise, they offer an appropriation with their bodies and feelings; This benefit their way of thinking, acting and contributing important elements to their language. We will approach this topic through many sensory and physical activities, songs and interactive books, among other things. We wish you a happy start to the year. Thank you. Stephani Narváez.

• Each morning will put different songs to dance, and make children's round and express feelings.

• The children will be shared with the children of Jellyfish in order to socialize with other children.

• Throughout the month several drawings will be made so that kids can color and scratch using colors, crayons, tiza and temperas.

• Good time will be available for girls to mix clay.

• Sensory boxes will be made with water, sand, fabrics, sawdust and paper with some relief.

• Girls will tear different types of thick paper, with hard and soft relief.

Parent attention schedule: Jueves de 2:30pm a 3:20 pm.

Queridos Padres: Esperamos que todos hayan tenido felices fiestas junto con sus familias. En este mes de Enero queremos empezar con un breve repaso de los temas vistos mediante este proyecto llamado “Los sentidos”. Gracias a la estimulación sensorial que aportan los sentidos, los niños desarrollan habilidades que les permiten observar y explorar lo que les rodea. Igualmente, les ofrecen una apropiación con sus cuerpos y sentimientos; benefician su forma de pensar, de actuar y aportan elementos importantes a su lenguaje. Es por lo anterior que queremos trabajar con los niños el este tema. Lo abordaremos mediante muchas actividades sensoriales y físicas, canciones y libros interactivos, entre otras cosas. • Se contará un cuento usando títeres, en el cual la profesora hace los gestos según los sentimientos de los personajes y los niños(as) tendrán que verlas e imitarlas.

• Cada mañana se pondrá diferentes canciones para bailar, y hacer ronda infantil y expresar sentimientos.

• Se compartirá con los niños de Medusas con el fin de que socialicen con otros niños.

Psicomotriz

• Tiene mayor control sobre su cuerpo y movimientos.
