Welcome to Werrington Parish Church! We are excited about what God has in store for us as He

builds His Church. Locally, we are looking at how we all focus on Jesus, The Centre of our World: full of Life, full of Love, full of Hope and what that means for our Church, our families and our community.

In January we continue to look at the First letter to the Corinthians, trying to understand what Paul, the Apostle to the Gentiles, was saying to them 2000 years ago and how relevant it is for us today as we seek to be Church family in Werrington. We will be specifically looking at the Gifts of the Spirit and how we can exercise them in the worship life of the church today. Please join us at St. John’s in the village, Emmanuel on Twelvetree Avenue or any of our other locations where we meet to be Church, sharing our faith in action and Jesus’ love for everyone. If you are new to our Church, please ask one of our Welcome Team for more information, or fill in a Welcome card. If you need help on your spiritual journey, please let us know and we will be glad to talk with you and provide ideas about how you can move forward. and terrorism around our world, especially the citizens of Syria and Yemen.

All those attending Alpha or considering coming along. Also for the

Alpha team that they be protected from spiritual attack over the coming weeks.

All who have struggled over Christmas either with health,

finances or emotional stress. Pray that they will be aware of Jesus’ love for them and find comfort from those around them.

If you have been coming for a while please make yourself known to us. Please register on our Church website www.werringtonparish.org.uk or fill in the form in our Welcome Pack and give to a steward or the Parish Office.

All leaders of our children’s (0-11yrs) and young people’s (11-18yrs) teams have been CRB or DBS checked.

Fliers are out for various events & ministries including Small Groups and Youth Ministry. Please see them for more information. Any events or areas within our church can be found on our website www.werringtonparish.org.uk

Prayer Ministry is available after most Church services.

Please leave car access near church, esp outside St John’s, for those unable to walk well. Can the more able bodied park further away please.

Transport for the evening service is available. Co-ordinator Jan Lowe (07542 136930) – Lay Pastoral Minister – to offer or request transport. We also need offers of transport in the week i.e. to get people to hospital, etc.

Werrington Parish Church supports Fair Trade. Stalls after Morning services on 1st Sunday at Emmanuel & on 4th Sunday at St John’s.

If you wish to give financially to the ministry here, please make cheques

payable to ‘PCC of Werrington Church’. Gift Aided envelopes are available

which increase your giving if you pay tax. Stewardship packs are available

from the Parish Office.
