At last Government has initiated to construct the road to connect Pundag to Chitmu villages bypassing the Central Anandanagar. Presently the people are using our constructed roads to move from Pundag to Chitmu, Kotshila and beyond. We have represented several times to construct a Government road for the use of the public since the establishment of Anandanagar. Though a public road does exist in the Government map but physically there is no such road. After long persuasion ultimately Purulia district authority has agreed to construct a new road bypassing our Central Anandanagar. This will be beneficial for our students, Hospital and inhabitants. Because we used to face traffic congestion, noise created by public while

moving through with mike, drum and heavy vehicles. Also this was causing damage to our roads. Recently a survey has been made by concerned Block Development Officer, Joypur, on the advice of District Magistrate, Purulia.

One appeal has been made to The Divisional Railway Manager, Adra, The General Manager,

South Eastern Railway and Railway Minister for allowing a short stoppage of Express Train

connecting Kolkata directly. This appeal was recommended by the local Member of

Parliament which will emphasize our demand/appeal.
