Agricultural ProductionPoultry and egg production was the largest agricultural commodity, contributing 32.4 percent of the county’s total agricultural and forestry production.
The second largest agricultural commodity was greenhouse, nursery, and floriculture production, which contributed 18.7 percent of the county’s total agricultural and forestry production.

Forestry ProductionTimberland accounted for 49.2 percent of the surface land area of Montgomery County. Total forestry production contributed 9.3 percent of the county’s total agricultural and forestry production.
