Mission Statement

To promote the disciplines and skills represented in the Common Body Of Knowledge (CBOK) for CSTE and CSQA, and to provide a professional level of competence in Software Quality Assurance and Software Quality Control in Monterrey, Mexico.

Vision Statement

To encourage software testers and quality analysts in obtaining CSTE and CSQA certifications to improve quality, productivity and customer satisfaction in all their products and services produced in Mexico.

Goals

Short-Term Goals:– To implement the quality assurance Institute’s developed

Common Body Of Knowledge (CBOK) for a Certified Software Tester (CSTE) in the organization, to improve tester’s competencies.

– To implement the Common Body Of Knowledge (CBOK) for Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) to improve quality processes in the organization.

– Establish awareness program for Certification.– Establish training program for Certification.– Host certification examinations in Monterrey, Mexico.

Strategic Planning

In order to meet short-term goals:– We must implement CBOK for CSTE and CSQA in the

organization’s education program.– We must deploy an awareness program for certification.– We must deploy a training program for certification.– We must establish communication with QAI for hosting

exams. In order to meet long-term goals:

– We must sell the idea to management to implement quality management in the organization.

– We must continuously improve the existent quality function, with effective QC and QA methods.
