  • MONSTERS By: Courtney Keimer

There are monsters in my closet. They wait to

attack. They are hairy and scary and ugly and

wack. The monsters like the dark. The

monsters like the quiet. They eat anything in

sight. They are never on a diet. There are

monsters under my bed. I hear them growl and

whisper. They might be under your bed. Warn

your brothers and your sisters. They have too

many eyes. They have horns and sharp teeth.

They creep down your stairs and hide

underneath. The monsters are lurking. The

monsters wait. Buy a lock. Buy a gate. I have

to be honest. I have to admit. Monsters arent

real. Not one little bit. Theyre not in your closet.

Its all in your head. Theyre not under your

stairs or under your bed. There really isnt much

more to say. Monsters dont exist. So have a

    great day!
