Sustenance showered over them from above andrisen from beneath their feet

Reward of Belief, Doing Righteous Work & Being God-Fearing for Towns

} 9{

Had the people of towns believed and been God-fearing, Wewould certainly have opened up to them blessings from theheavens and the earth; but they rejected [their Prophets] and soWe seized them for their deeds.

} 5 9{

Had the People of the Book only believed and been God-fearing,We should surely have removed from them their evil deeds, andcaused them to enter Gardens of Bliss. Had the People of theBook observed the Torah and the Gospel, and all that had beenrevealed to them from their Lord, sustenance would have beenshowered over them from above and risen from beneath theirfeet.

Making them Successors (to the present rulers) in the Land

Rain, Wealth, Children, Gardens, Rivers

7 } 1 {

I (Noah) said to them: Ask forgiveness from your Lord; surely Heis Most Forgiving. He will shower upon you rain from heaven, and will provide you with wealth and children, and will bestow

upon you gardens and rivers."

2} 5 {

Allah has promised to those among you who believe and dorighteous deeds, that He will make them successors (to the presentrulers) in the land just as He made those who passed away beforethem, and that He will establish their religion, which He hasapproved for them, on strong foundations and will change their(present) state of fear into peace and security. Let them worship Meand associate none with Me; and the one who disbelieves after this,

Announce to the believers the good tidings that Allahhas kept bounteous blessings in store for them.

Allah loves the God-fearing.

Allah defends & protects the believers and the righteous.

shall be of those who are perverse transgressors. Therefore,establish Prayer, pay the Zakat dues and obey the Messenger; it isexpected that you will be shown mercy. Do not think about thosewho have disbelieved that they will be able to frustrate Allah in theland; their abode is Hell and it is a very evil abode.

But Allah loves only those who fulfil their covenant and fearAllah. Truly Allah loves the God-fearing.

Surely Allah defends those who believe. Certainly Allah has nolove for the perfidious, the thankless.

Allah is the Helper and Protector of those who believe in Him:He brings them out of the depths of darkness into the light.

} 69{

My guardian is Allah Who has revealed the Book, and it is HeWho protects the righteous.

} 5{

Allah is the Helper and Protector of those who believe in Him: Hebrings them out of the depths of darkness into the light. As for thedisbelievers, they have Taghut (Satans/the Evil) as their guardians,who drive them out of light into the depths of darkness. These arethe people who are doomed to the Fire, wherein they shall live for ever.

} 6{Know well, Allah is with the believers.

} {

Believers, if you help Allah, He will come to your help and willplant your feet firmly.

Help & Favour of the Muslims of the Whole World

Only Allah, His Messenger, and those who believe and whoestablish Prayer, pay Zakah, and bow (before Allah) are your allies. All those who take Allah and His Messenger and those who believeas their allies, should remember that the party of Allah will be thevictorious.

} 36{

Do not, then, either lose heart or grieve: for you will surely gainthe upper hand if you are true men of faith.

} 5{

Surely those who believed and migrated and strove hard and foughtin the way of Allah with their possessions and their lives, and thosethat sheltered and helped them - they alone are the true allies of one another. And those who believed but did not migrate (to Dar-al-Islam), you are under no obligation of alliance unless they migrate.

The Duty of Muslim rulers: They establish Prayers,pay Zakah, enjoin good, and forbid evil.

Presence of the righteous people who invite to all that isgood and enjoin the doing of all that is right and forbid the

doing of all that is wrong.

But if they seek help from you in the matter of religion, it is yourduty provide help unless it be against a people with whom you havea pact. Allah is sees all that you do. And those who disbelieve theyare allies of one another; and if you (Muslims of the whole worldcollectively) do not do likewise, there will be oppression on earthand a great mischief and corruption. Those who believe and havemigrated and strove hard and fought in the way of Allah, and thosewho gave them refuge and help - it is they who are the truebelievers. Theirs shall be forgiveness and honourable sustenance.

} 7{

These are the people who, if We bestow authority on them inthe land, will establish Prayers, pay Zakah, enjoin good, andforbid evil. The end of all matters rests with Allah.

And Allah never wrongfully destroys human habitationswhile their inhabitants are righteous and trying to reform.

The Believers are the Honourable People in theSight of Allah.

People Who are Not in a State of Loss

And from among you there must be a party who invite people toall that is good and enjoin the doing of all that is right and forbid

the doing of all that is wrong. It is they who will attain truesuccess.

7 } 7{

And your Lord is not such as would wrongfully destroy humanhabitations while their inhabitants are righteous and trying toreform.

3 } {

In truth, all honour belongs to Allah, and to His Messenger, andto the believers. But the hypocrites do not know.

Owners of Eternal Gardens

People of High ranks and Great Honour in the Afterlife

By the time! Lo! Man is in a state of loss; except those who havefaith and do righteous deeds, and counsel each other to hold on

to truth and counsel each other to be steadfast.

} 7{

This worldly life has been made very charming and alluring for thosewho have adopted the way of disbelief. So they mock at those whohave adopted the way of belief, but the pious people will rank abovethem on the Day of Resurrection. As to the worldly provisions, Allahhas full authority and power to bestow these without measure onanyone He wills.

} 696{

Do not let the strutting about of the unbelievers in the landdeceive you. This is but a little enjoyment, then their destinationis Hell -what an evil resting place! But those who fear their Lord:theirs shall be the gardens beneath which rivers flow and in

which they will live forever: a hospitality from Allah Himself, AndAllah's reward is best for the truly pious.
