One person can install in less than 5 minutes. Adjust screw to approximate length needed between beam andfooter, where the MONO-POST is to be positioned. Set MONO-POST in a perpendicular position betweenfooter and beam. Make additional screw adjustment until the post is firmly in position. Additional adjustmentsmay be made during construction to keep floor level. Poured concrete floor locks MONO-POST adjustmentpermanently. 11 gauge are available in 3, 3 ½, & 4 inch OD. Other uses for AKRON Floor Jacks

1. Place flat side of one plate on footing. Put large diameterpost on plate with holes on top.

2. Insert small diameter post inside large post. For maximumheight, position small diameter post with holes at bottom.Reverse for shorter applications.

3. Turn round nut to top of threads on adjustment screw.Place adjustment screw on top of small diameter post.Tapered side of nut will fit into small diameter post with theshoulder resting on top of post.

4. Lift small diameter post to highest possible position. Alignholes in posts. Place two bolts through holes and securewith nuts.

5. Place plate on top of screw with flat side up. Use 3/4” openend or adjustable wrench to complete adjustment.

NOTE: MAKE SURE POST IS EXACTLY VERTICAL. Secureplates with proper nails, screws, or bolts.

NOTE: For best support under wooden structures place largediameter tube and plate directly under beam.

To correct sagging floors,Place beam under joists, hold inplace with two AKRON Floor Jacks. Adjust floor jacks one-half turn each week over several weeks.

Otros usos para gatos de piso AKRON

1. Colocar la cara plana de una de las placas sobre el lugarde apoyo. Colocar el poste de diámetro grande sobre laplaca, con los agujeros en la parte superior.2. Insertar el poste de diámetro pequeño dentro del postegrande. Para la altura máxima, posicionar el poste dediámetro pequeño con los agujeros en la parte inferior.Invertir para aplicaciones más cortas.3. Girar la tuerca hasta el extremo de la rosca en el tornillo deajuste. Colocar el tornillo de ajuste sobre el poste dediámetro pequeño. El lado de menor diámetro de la roscacalzará dentro del poste de diámetro pequeño y el rebordesuperior quedará apoyado sobre la parte superior del poste.

4. Levantar el poste de diámetro pequeño hasta la posiciónmás alta. Alinear los agujeros en los postes. Colocar dosbulones a través de los agujeros y asegurarlos con tuercas.

5. Colocar la placa sobre el tornillo con la cara plana haciaarriba. Utilizar una llave de boca fija de ¾” o ajustable paraterminar de ajustar.NOTA: ASEGURARSE DE QUE LA POSICIÓN DEL POSTESEA PERFECTAMENTE VERTICAL. Asegurar las placas conlos clavos, tornillos, o bulones adecuados.NOTA: Para un mejor soporte debajo de estructuras demadera, colocar el tubo de diámetro mayor y la placadirectamente debajo del tirante.Para corregir pisos hundidos, colocar un tirante debajo delas vigas, sostener en su lugar con dos gatos de pisoAKRON. 1. Placez le côté lisse d'un plat sur le pavement. Mettez lepoteau au large diamètre sur le plat avec les trous en haut.

2. Insérez le poteau au petit diamètre au-dedans du largepoteau. Pour une hauteur maximum, placez le poteau au petitdiamètre avec les trous en bas. Reverser la position pour lesutilisations plus courtes.3. Tournez autour de l'écrou au-dessus des fils de la vis deréglage. Placez la vis de réglage sur le poteau de petitdiamètre. Le côté conique de l'écrou se logera dans le poteauau petit diamètre avec l'épaulement restant positionné au-dessus du poteau.4.Placez le plat sur la vis, avec le côté lisse vers le haut.Utilisez l'extrémité ouverte de 3/4" ou la clé réglable pourcompléter l'ajustement.5. Placez le plat sur la vis, avec le côté lisse vers le haut.Utilisez l'extrémité ouverte de 3/4" ou la clé réglable pourcompléter l'ajustement.ATTENTION: Assurez-vous QUE LE POTEAU ESTEXACTEMENT VERTICAL. Sécurisez les plats avec les clous,les vis ou les boulons appropriés.NOTE: Pour un meilleur appui sous les structures en bois,placez le tube et le plat de grand diamètre directement sousle balancier. (Fig. 6)Pour corriger l'affaissement des pavements, placez lebalancier sous les poutrelles et tenez-le en place à l'aide desdeux crics rouleurs AKRON.
