Part 1: News and Infos 1. REA4 – Russian airforce Moscow 7117.0 kHz – F1B 100 Bd, 500 or 1000 Hz shift, all day, “REA4” - RUS airforce Moscow – now back to 7018 as usual in November. The signal has a very bad quality and is producing harmonic radiation on 14036 kHz. The German PTT filed a new complaint. 2. Russian daily taxi business on 21 MHz Now even from Kaluga on 21404.2 kHz in FM. Taking passengers to Central Baths (BASSEIN) and Cultural Center (DOM KULTURY) and some unspecificied stations (STANTSIAS) 3. Amateur Radio bands abused by commercial and other services – state: November 2012 2.1. Illegal fishery buoys on 28000 – 28500 using A1A 2.2. Illegal Datawell Waverider buoys 29525.0 (Casablanca) and 29500 (Gibraltar)– F1B, 81.9 Bd, 140 Hz shift 2.3. Illegal buoy emissions on 28025, 28045, 28100, 28200 - F1B, 51 Bd, 300 Hz shift – new kind of driftnet buoys? 2.4. Illegal CIS taxi traffic in F3E on 28 – 29.7 MHz - now daily on 21404.2 kHz in FM – location Kaluga, Russia! 2.5. Illegal taxi traffic in F3E in Barcelona (Spain) on 2 m-band 2.6. llegal Safari and hunting services in Africa – often on 7 MHz 2.7. Illegal missionary traffic on our bands in Africa 2.8. Illegal fishery traffic on all HAM-bands, sometimes using vocoders (like CRY 2001) 2.9. Illegal CB-like traffic in all parts of the world on 3.5, 7, 14, 21, 24 and 28 MHz 2.10. Illegal BCs on 7 MHz – spurious and IM products on the upper bands 2.11. Illegal embassy and diplo-traffic on exclusive bands (MFA Cairo and MFA Sudan) 2.12. Numerous digital military services including radar systems and harmonic emissions on all bands 2.13. Illegal transmissions by ocean surface radars

4. Legal shortwavekillers PLC and Plasma-TV 5. CODAR on 14 MHz – still active The CODAR ocean surface radar on 14075 - 14125 kHz is still active from North-East India. An earlier complaint by the German PTT has not been regarded. 6. Radio Tehran on 21445 kHz Radio Tehran on 21500 kHz produced strong spurious signals on 21445, 21390, 21335 and 21280 kHz (55 kHz increments) every morning at about 0730 UTC. DK2OM informed the German PTT, HB9CET informed BAKOM. The German BNetzA and the Swiss BAKOM filed complaints. OFCOM UK informed by G4BOH. 7. Mysterious signals on 7000, 8000, 9000, 14000, 15000, 18000, 21000 and 21010 kHz from Central China After the “moo” we got mysteriuos multitone signals, often as A3E and 6 kHz wide. The purpose is unknown. Perhaps a new kind of communication??? The multitone on 7000 kHz still is active daily. The Dutch, Swiss, Austrian and German PTTs were informed. Many thanks to HB9CET for excellent support. Soundfile – recording by DK2OM: http://www.iarums-r1.org/iarums/sound/21000-chn.wav

Radars are going to appear everywhere …

Russian OTH radar on 3568 – 3631 kHz with 87 sps on Nov. 20th at 1930 UTC and the following days digital HAM-traffic on 80 m impossible in Northern Europe - location: Makhachkala, Caspian Sea

The OTH radar disappeared on Nov. 24th.

Please observe: The 80 m-band is assigned on primary base but not exclusive in many Region 1 countries! Anyway: Radars are not welcomed!

________________________________________________________

Chirpy signals on 21000 kHz from Central China (Lanzhou) were observed by HB9CET and DK2OM in November 2012, audible every morning in Central Europe. The signals were covering the whole band until up to 21450 kHz. A new kind of OTH radar??? The British, German and Swiss PTTs were informed. Soundfile – recording by DK2OM: http://www.iarums-r1.org/iarums/sound/21000a-chirp.wav

Radio Bangladesh no threat for our 7 MHz-band in the future! After the official complaints by several European PTTs DJ9KR sent a further complaint to the embassy of Bangladesh in Berlin and received a pleasant information:

Many thanks to all involved PTTs, National Coordinators, HAMs and at last to the kind Government of Bangladesh for excellent assistance!
