Monitor&Save leads to the reductions of annual energy bills from 10% to 35%
Monitor&Save service allows to save energy with no investment
ESCO model
Small kick-off fee to be determined based on building size
Agreement to split savings over an aprox. 36 month period
Installation of an energy monitoring system with no cost to the hotel
Compliance with directive 2012/27/UE* that establish mandatory periodical energy audits (first audit required before the 12-05-15)
Prioritisation of QuickWins (“easy” to deploy rapid return actions)
Comprehensive detailed reporting and plan of actions (bespoke reporting if necessary)
Alarms and KPI automation that could lead to a Sustainability Balance Score Card.

You can’t save energy if you don’t know where it is being consumed
. . . . . . . . . . . .
Monitor&Save Monitoring
Continuous monitoring allows to know WHERE and WHEN the energy is being consumed, which makes a thorough monitoring program a crucial part of any energy savings initiative

Quimera employs international standard de facto EVO’s (IPMVP) to validate savings from efficiency actions
• Baseline Period
• Measured Energy: defining baseline by using historical data.
• Reporting Period
• Adjusted Baseline: defining an adjusted baseline by using regression analysis, taking into account variables such as weather, occupancy (in hotels), passengers (in airports) or opening hours (in malls).
• Avoided Energy: Saving calculations are obtained by comparing the current utility bills and the adjusted baseline.
Monitor&Save How do we get savings
Due to differences in facilities, savings algorithm can be adjusted prior to starting the project, to ensure the best possible fit
