• Established a 6 member national marketing and research team which produced several research studies included areas like competitive intelligence and product analysis methodologies. Plus, proposals, white

papers, research studies, etc.

• Increased the budget for national marketing with the decision to eliminate third party outsourcing activities.

• Produced the ‘first’ national business and marketing plans within 2 weeks which allowed for swift approval

and immediate release of the budget.

• Eliminated outdated paper-based surveys with an electronic survey system which produced a 60% rate of response rate within 2 weeks and a 10 page analysis report.

Litco Systems Inc. – V.P. Business Development and Marketing – Markham 1999

• Wrote the first set of business and marketing plans with the revenues and growth targets of 50% within 3

years which would satisfy the corporate goal of stepping into an IPO offering.

• Formed a Control and Measurement Plan (CAMP) to ensure that economic returns were generous relative

to sales results by region.

• Shaped open and frequent communication across all divisions with the weekly meetings to ensure that engineering and sales were tied together and worked alongside to satisfy the client and company needs.

Bell Canada 1990- -1998

• Fast tracked throughout the Canadian telecom industry. Spanning all the major modes of communications – and, incorporating ALL marketing functions and responsibilities.

• Recognized and rewarded as “Canada’s Pioneer” for the introduction of – Teleducation and Telemedicine – and, several leading technology products and services specific to the education and medical markets.

• Negotiated a “Fiber Optic Splicing Agreement” for the world’s first electronic toll /photo-billing highway.

• Designed, developed and delivered the first telecommunications CRM/DBM/relationship/loyalty/database

• Opened the doors to the “small office/home office” market with the introduction of a new fax technology.

• Created the 1 “bill and contract” system which saved clients and wiped out the competitor’s capitalization.
