HARBOUR MUGS MADE FOR THE 10TH ANNIVERSARY
The Harbour School has become the
OFFICIAL manufacturers of the TOM PRINCE
CANCER TRUST mug.
Exclusively designed to mark the 10th
Anniversary of the charity and something the
charity hadn’t thought of before.
Dad Clinton Prince said ‘when we asked
people which mugs they preferred the decision
was split - white or orange so we decided to
go with both’.
‘It is great to work with the school,
someone we know and for the children to see
that what they are doing is going to make a
contribution and difference to their community
too’.
The Harbour School @ Tipner have been
associated with the TOM PRINCE CANCER
TRUST since BLUE DAY 2008- FA CUP
winning day and have helped raise money
towards the £1 million pound target to buy new
medical equipment and research into
OSTEOSARCOMA - teenage bone cancer.
Currently at around £850,000 and 10
years into it. We will be supporting

Douglas Stafford supports Harbour School youngsters
Mystery shopping and performance improvement company, Douglas Stafford, supporting a festive themed business initiative by a Portsmouth school. For the second year running, The Harbour School – which is based at five sites across Portsmouth and supports children & learners with behavioural, emotional and social developmental needs – has made a selection of Christmas cards.
After success in the Tycoon in Schools Project in 2012, launched by Dragonsʼ Den star Peter Jones, the youngsters were able to expand their business ideas in 2013 to more personal products, including keyrings, t-shirts and mugs.

I-Sub Education support charity push for Prostate CancerSince working with and supporting the Harbour School with their
Enterprise journey. I-Sub Education, as providers of and suppliers of
sublimation equipment and resources have joined forces to
promote PROSTATE CANCER awareness on the 22nd of
March at Portsmouth Football Club verses York City.
Teacher David MacAskill, designed a t-shirt aimed
specifically at the male market to promote Prostate
Cancer awareness after becoming aware of it via a
family member. After some research, talking to Prostate
Cancer Uk, the Football League and Portsmouth Football
Club, it was decided that we could undertake this task to raise
awareness in a creative manner.
Johnny Moore of Portsmouth Football Club and Claire Martin,
Director of Community & Charity set the date and have arranged for a
bucket collection, the players to wear and sign t-shirts to auction,
alongside a donation of tshirts from I-SUB education.
Paul Marks of I-Sub Education said ‘ we have worked
alongside the Harbour School for almost a year and this
is one of the most amazing and creative use of
Sublimation printing the schools have presented us
with. We are pleased to be part of the project and look
forward to seeing some fantastic results for a very
important cause’.
If you want to help on the day, watch a game of football and
be part of the bigger community, join the Headteacher, staff, students
and parents at Fratton Park (20 required) on Saturday 22nd and
supporting PFC on Saturday 29th March 2014to raise money.
