“O Life! How pleasant is thy

morning, young fancy's rays the hills

adorning.”Robert Burns

Historic Moness House, a former shooting lodge dating back to 1758 and the oldest dwelling in Aberfeldy, has been lovingly refurbished to retain the integrity of the original while introducing the essentials of modern day comfort – making it the ideal place to relax after time spent exploring this beautiful and unique part of Scotland.

Our four-star lodges, set in the estate’s mature grounds, are ideal for a get together with friends and family.

Wherever on the estate you choose to stay, wind down and relax by taking advantage of the Resort leisure facilities, where you can take a swim or challenge the family to a round of putting on the manicured lawn

that once staged the area’s annual Highland games.

If you’re feeling a little more energetic, follow in Robert Burns’ footsteps and take a stroll to the nearby Birks of Aberfeldy. You won’t be disappointed: the scene overlooking the falls that tumble through Moness Gorge, and the breathtaking views of the Strathtay valley, so captivated the poet he was moved to celebrate it in verse.

And while you relax in the beauty of our setting, we’ll be working behind the scenes to provide you with the warmest welcome in the heart of Scotland.

There are cultural adventures to be had too – from the ancient dwelling at the Scottish Crannog Centre on Loch Tay, to the local distillery at Dewar’s World of Whisky. General Wade’s Bridge in Aberfeldy was the Tay’s first ever road crossing point, in Fortingall you can see the oldest tree in Europe, and lovers of castles and gardens will not be disappointed.

For golf breaks we have a dedicated team member to book accommodation, tee times/buggies and ensure that your break exceeds expectations – all you need to worry about is your game… ...activities – the huge choice of tailored packages can be booked for families, groups and singles.
