WELCOME TO ST. LUCAS! We are glad you are here. Please fill out the I’m Here Today card in your
worship folder and drop it in the offering plate. May our Lord bless your worship with us.
CHILDCARE AREA & RESTROOMS For families with infants & toddlers there is a nursery area
in the lower church that has speakers so you may listen to the service while you attend your chil-
dren. Restrooms are also in the lower church. You may access these areas via the narthex stair-
well, stairwell by the baptismal font or elevator. MEMORIAL/HOPE CANDLES Worshipers are invited to light
candles in remembrance of a loved one or a candle of hope against some darkness in their lives. These remain lit
during the service only. Prayer intention candles are under the crucifixion side hymn board main sanctuary for Sunday wor-
shipers and at the pillar by the piano in the lower church for Saturday worshipers. SUNDAY SCHOOL September-May we offer
Sunday School & breakfast every Sunday following the Young People’s Homily for kids through High School age.
CINDY’S CORNER CAFÉ AND OUTREACH will be
closed this week and next and resume services on Janu-
ary 8. Thanks to all who have supported this important
ministry of St. Lucas.
2019 OFFERING ENVELOPES are on the tables in the
narthex and ready for your pick up. If you do not find a
box with your name on it and would like envelopes, please
indicate on the back of your “I’m Here Today” card.
WE REQUEST YOUR PRAYER on a daily basis for the
stewardship and evangelism of St. Lucas, that God will
help us to grow as a congregation as we share the good
news of Jesus Christ and provide for all of our needs to
fully fund ministry and mission on behalf of Lord Jesus
Christ. Please pray also for all of our St. Lucas minis-
tries.
USE OF CELL PHONES/TABLETS ENCOUR-
AGED DURING WORSHIP You are welcome
to use your cell phone or tablet to enhance our
shared worship experience. Sharing your faith
in real-time is cool. Phone calls are not. Tex-
ting is fine. Check-in on Facebook. Take
selfies. Share pictures of the services and
this beautiful sanctuary on our Facebook
page. Tell your friends and family you are
here. Invite them to join you. Post about your experience
on social media. Take videos and share them freely, but
please don’t take pictures/videos of children and be
careful not to disrupt the service. Check us out on Face-
book: www.facebook.com/StLucasLutheranChurch.
PICTURES OF JAZZ MASS SOUGHT If you took pic-
tures at the Jazz Mass/Blue Christmas service on Christ-
mas Eve, would you please send them to stlucasof-
[email protected]. We would like to feature them in the Acts
of St. Lucas.
