At the installation of officers these members took office. On November 11, 1965, the first P.H.S. chapter of the Future Homemakers of America, under the direction of M r s . Fredericks, was organized. After its be­ginning the chapter got off to a busy start. A few of the years events included; a dem­onstration of gas cooking by Miss Miller representing People's Natural Gas, a Christmas caroling party, and a mother­daughter banquet. Several members also attended a state convention in Lincoln.
