A GLOBAL MANIFESTATION OF GOD’S AMAZING GRACE IN THIS ISSUE
Merriam-Webster’s dictionary defines the word “come”: to move toward something or approach; to arrive at a particular place or conclusion. Let’s briefly look at how the word is used in the Bible.
Isaiah 1:18 says…”Come now let us reason together says the Lord” (let’s settle the matter regarding your sins – God can take away the stain of sin thru His Son, Jesus Christ).
Psalms 95:1 says…”Come, let us sing for joy unto the Lord…shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation” (a worship leader calling the congregation to worship the Lord in unified praise & fellowship).
Forgiveness and Repentance
Isaiah 1:18 bids us to be washed and cleansed and to have a changed lifestyle marking our repentance. He assures us from the beginning that God can/will cleanse and wash away our sins, until they are white than snow. Romans 6:23 says the “wages of sin is death; but the free gift (Jesus Christ thru His shed blood) is eternal life”.
Fellowship and Reward
Psalms 95:1 calls the congregation to come and fellowship in the beauty of worship and praise unto God; the Psalmist addresses God as the “Rock of our salvation” and the “Great God above all other gods”. The Psalmist beckons God’s people to “come” in true fellowship, devotion and communion to give Him the “hallelujahs” (highest praise) He so richly deserves. God promises to give us (the sheep of His pasture) health, wealth and long life (Psalms 100).
Faith and Rejoicing
Matthew 19:26…”Jesus looked and said with man this is impossible, but with God ALL things are possible”.

Coming Home is a global manifestation of God’s Amazing Grace. It’s a community of believers in Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior, a people of African descent, finding a place to reconnect, reconcile, reunite and rejoice together in genuine fellowship and love.
Ministry ONE’s Founder/President Dr. Joseph Rhoiney felt God’s leading to seek kindred believers in Christ Jesus of the African diaspora to come together for a time of worship and praise on September 26, 2015. It’s a time of refreshing and renewal.
For nearly 500 years, the African diaspora has been separated due to the effects of slavery, greed and inhumane treatment of those of African descent. Since that time it has been a hope of many who long to reconnect with their ancestry by means of purposeful reunion and fellowship.
Ministry ONE’s mission: “We, believers in Jesus Christ, endeavors to engage/collaborate with people of African
descent, individually/collectively, leaders from every kindred, culture and ethnicity of the world, to share their unique richness, geniuses and beauty of its region to increase peace, advancement of values, qualities, diversities and resources which will provide best practices and appreciation of humanity helping humanity.”
Our vision is clear: “RECONNECT, RECONCILE, REUNITE and REJOICE”.
Home is where the heart is….

“Ministering to the world one heart at a time”…that’s the vision of Ministry ONE.
Matthew 28:18-20…Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
We are called to “go (move beyond our local assemblies) and make disciples”…part of Ministry ONE’s mission is to partner, support and uplift other ministries fulfilling this Great Commission.
There are so many exciting ministries and events happening around this city and nation that one cannot capture it all, but to partake in different programs and alike is a joy indeed. God has blessed us to visit and share what He has given to our hands to do, and He is no shorter than His Word “to perform it until the day of Jesus Christ” (Philippians 1:6)
Since our beginning in 2000, ministry opportunities have been made available for our gifts and talents to be used for God’s glory and honor. We have participated in revivals, dedications, Bible conferences, Youth conventions, gospel music extravaganzas and even fashion shows to name a few.
AROUND TOWN is dedicated to highlighting what we’ve seen and heard that we might share these events with our ministry partners and the wider community of believers, so that we ALL can connect, celebrate and pray for one another. So let’s REJOICE…”for this is the Lord’s doing and it’s marvelous in our eyes” (Psalms 118:23).
Youth Day – “Purity & Virtue” Ministry ONE was invited to share its Men’s Seminar series; “M.A.N.H.U.N.T.” (See additional info on Page 6) on April 13, 2015 at the New Christian Hope MB Church.
One of our disciples, Cordell, shared his gift of “rap” at the Youth Day Explosion, May 31. Pastor Ernest Baker concluded the service with a graduation ceremony for young ladies: “Purity & Virtue”. The recipients completed a 6-week course on how to live “holy/committed” lives for Jesus. His prayer was for the “protection/submission” of their bodies as “temples of the Holy Spirit.”
Black History Month Bellevue Baptist Church celebrates Black History Month during February 2015. Ministry ONE visited the AM services to participate, take pictures and promote the upcoming Men’s Conference 2015 and the “Patriarch Awards”. Pastor Dr. Lucious Fullwood is the 2015 “BWJ Lifetime Achievement Award” recipient.
In addition, Dr. Rhoiney was invited by Pastor Fullwood to come and share the Word of God a few weeks thereafter. We truly appreciated the fellowship.
Global Leadership for Change Christ’s Oasis Ministries is a unique multi- cultural, multi-national, multi-campus charismatic church that is partnering with the Holy Spirit to become a great OASIS of Christ; one special note, this ministry is comprised of 30 different nationalities ALL from the continent of Africa in addition to Latin America and Asia.
