Current interrupt rating at UL (Also known as Hot Mateable)– Can be hot mated at 48V AC/DC and 23.0A – up to 30 mating cycles– Can be unplugged without damaging the two main points of contact

Explanation of how the terminal allows for hot mating:– The sacrificial contacts are closer to the header pin than the main contacts– When the connector is unplugged, if there is an arc, the arc will make contact with the sacrificial

contacts and not the main terminal contact points, thus protecting the main current path
