(RTE) are aligned with its business objectives. Responsiblities: 1.To provide strategic and tactical

planning, development, evaluation & coordination of IT systems for RTE, Afghanistan. 2.

Coordinate, facilitate & consult with all related staffs and suggest the best IT Solutions. 3.Participateproactively with senior management team in developing & executing plans to optimize the use of IT

in support of RTE’s objectives. 4. Draft Project Proposals and megotiate IT service agreements with

Corporate Customers and monitor for better IT systems performance. 5. Develop and enforce

policies & procedures to ensure the protection of IT assets and the integrity, security & privacy of

information entrusted to or maintained by RTE. 6. Maintain contacts with IT vendors and knowledge

of current technology, equipment, prices and terms of agreements to minimize the investments

ensuring established service levels: evaluate alternatives, perform cost benefit analysis and

recommend solutions to minimize costs commensurate with acceptable risks. 7. Provide advice on

to ensure timely and effective restoration of IT services. 9. Ensure appropriate training &
