2 Hi Freddie, 15th July

I’m in Rio de Janeiro, in Brazil. It’s a big city, but

it’s got beaches too. It’s beautiful. We’re staying in

a big hotel and the bedrooms are very big. It’s got

a great restaurant.

I’m in the restaurant now. My brother is taking

fantastic photos, but I haven’t got a camera. I’ve

got my binoculars. I can see the city and the sea

with boats on it. We usually go camping, but it’s

nice to stay in a hotel.

Tonight we’re going to the cinema to watch a new

film and tomorrow we’re going to the beach. It’s

hot and I can go swimming.

We’re staying in the countryside in a tent. It’s a big tent and you can stand in it. I love going camping. There are lots of tents and caravans and lots of people. At the campsite there’s a swimming pool and a café. They make great pizzas there. But we aren’t going tonight because we’re going to a restaurant in the town. It’s an expensive restaurant, but it’s Mum’s birthday today, so it’s a special day.

Tomorrow, I’m going rock climbing in the mountains with my brothers. It’s exciting.
