• Students will know the laws regarding to abandoning a vehicle or appliance

Littering is:
• Litter= any trash thrown, discarded, or dropped by a person onto public property, private property (not owned by them), or onto Ohio’s waterways.
• Littering is illegal• Fines up to $1000 and/or 6
months in jail

• Drivers can be given a ticket for littering

• Leaving trash or discarded items on any public/private land or waterway can result in fines or jail time
• State law prohibits the placement of trash in someone else’s dumpster without permission from the owner
