SYMPOSIUM 2021

This event is a symposium in the field of materials science, which provides basic knowledge for

material scientists and researchers on some selected aspects of modelling and advanced steels.

Post-gratuate students will have the opportunity to participate.

Talks held by experts from academics and industry will review several topics, such as computer

simulation methods, phase diagrams and transformations, and the microstructures and mechanical

properties of advanced steels. The first session will be focused on modelling and the second session

will be on advanced steels.

The platform will take place on 13th July 2021 and will be online and held by the University of Applied

Sciences Upper Austria, Wels Campus. Between the two sessions and after the symosium, the

coffee / lunch break and get together event will take place online, allowing further scientific

exchanges and discussions.
