PRESIDENT’S REPORT
Model A Flyer
I want to thank all of the members who attended the President’s run to Grenfell and Cowra, the weekend of 21‐22 September. We all had a wonderful time, especially those members who took along their Model A’s. The town’s people really enjoyed viewing our cars and it was especially nice to catch up with some of our country members who joined us for some or all of the weekend. For me it was personally gratifying to see the whole weekend run smoothly with everyone enjoying themselves.
Col and Trish Bootle’s Wednesday Wanderers run to Tulip Tops was a great day out. 12 Wanderers attended and the gardens were amazing. Reminded me of how Floriade was when it first started. Wonderful day with great weather. Ian Irwin and his wife Ida from the Model A Canberra club came along to say hello. Thank you, Col and Trish for organising this event. I have been informed that the Victoria club will be limiting entry numbers to the 2020 Model A National Meet at Bendigo to 220. Please send in your rally entry form ASAP if you intend to go. I would hate to see anyone miss out. Our club still has some great outings organised for you for the rest of the year so please come along and enjoy the runs. Refer to details in the flyer. Please note the change in venue for the maintenance day on 2nd November. Looking forward to catching up with you at one of our outings. Regards Robert Brown
