Mock ups of music magazine..Using other people photo’s to represent what mine

may look like..

This is the format in which my front cover title will have, but there won’t be blotches of white in the background of it, I’ll sort this out on Photoshop..

I’m going to go for the more simplistic approach to a music magazine..

This is just an image I got from the internet, but my own image that will replace this one will be of a similar look and feel..

I’ve decided to have my music magazine issued monthly..

I may use these coloured blocks to outline the ‘discover Jess Murray’, ‘discover music’ and also, the date and price of the issue. I will decide whether to use it or not when I have my real photo’s taken.

Contents page mock up..

I’ve decided to change the main layout of the contents page. Changing it from a single page for a double page spread. I’ve put the page numbers that link to the main double

page spread, that’s about the artist (Jess Murray), at the top on the left hand side page, I thought as this would be the first thing you may read it would draw more attention to the those main pages.

On the right hand page, I’ve faded the picture so the photo is still very visible but the writing is the main thing you would look at.

I’ve continued with the font from the front cover so this shows that my music magazine contains house style.

I’ve added little pictures, for example daisies, because I thought the page needed something and I thought a daisy would fit well due to the indie style of the magazine.

Although for the contents page mock up I couldn’t find a photo from the internet the completely matched the idea I had in my head, the page I have made is a similar replica of the contents page that I want.
