Note: This mobility pattern concerns the Road Freight Advanced Driver qualification in Finland

and the Warehouse Technician qualification in Catalonia because the Finnish qualification

includes Learning Outcomes related to warehousing.

1. Hosting: Catalonia / Sending: Finland

Period of mobility: 2nd year for Finnish learners

Modalities 3 to 4 weeks internship (exact period to be defined) + preparation of a week at the partner school (just for the internship) = in total 4 to 5 weeks

Pack, interpret and make markings on the most common packaging and transport units. Receive and store goods.

Accept goods and check the delivery based in the accompanying documentation. Check the accompanying documentation Analyse nature and characteristics of goods Check conformity of goods Respect internal procedures and operating and client instructions Apply quality rules

They organise and carry out the preparation of logistics operations within the organisation taking into account the nature of goods, under the supervision of the logistics manager who determines their degree of autonomy. They need to respect the client’s needs, quality and safety regulations. Furthermore, they collaborate in dispute resolution and have to be able to account for anomalies or malfunctions and explain their decisions.

Part of unit: Transport and logistics by lorry.

Vocational Qualification in Logistics

Collect and send goods. Download or verify unloading operations.

Check / confirm the shipping / transport documentation Pick and package goods for delivery

Unmount and tidy up the elements. Control the unloading.

Check order picking instructions Apply picking routes in the warehouse Select picking mode concerning the type of product.

Prerequisite (given in Finland):

• Have succeeded well enough in former studies to be able to have training abroad

• English Level B1

Assessment responsibilities transfer and recognition of learning outcomes achieved

abroad:

At the end of the mobility abroad, the mentors of Catalonia assess the trainees from Finland.

They check reality and level of learning outcomes achieved. They use an assessment grid.

This result is transferred to Finland

The final evaluation and mark take into account the assessment of the mentor abroad, the

report and the assessment of the report’s presentation.

The trainees prepare a written report of the activities. The final evaluation and mark of MP7

UF1 take into account the assessment of the mentor abroad, the report and the assessment

of the LO 1 “Carry out maintenance operations for motor vehicles, relating the constitution

and operation to the scheduled maintenance actions” assessed previously in Catalonia.
