Mobile teach-in with PFO SmartTeach.

PFO SmartTeach is an application for your programmable focus-

ing optics PFO. It facilitates generation and set-up of the laser

welding and laser cutting programs you execute with the PFO.

The integrated camera on the C-mount of the optics transmits

the live image to the app. This enables you to teach comfort-

ably right at the component. If you want to generate and

teach-in PFO geometries, this can be carried out via intuitive,

gesture-based operation on the iPad.

Thanks to PFO SmartTeach you save a lot of set-up time –

depending on the component this can be as much as 50%.

PFO SmartTeach synchronizes the generated or changed pro-

grams with the laser. Users of the control software TruControl

will adjust to it quickly because the familiar properties for

generation of a PFO program have been retained. Known se-

quences and functions have been preserved. PFO SmartTeach

is available free of charge from Apple’s App Store and can be

tested without risk. For productive use, activate the option

“PFO SmartTeach App”.
