The C-Scope USP System integrates a wide range of high-performance active and passive surveillance sensors covering the underwater domain from inner harbor to open sea. The C-Scope USP System performs automatic detection, tracking, classification and identification of multiple targets, and the system is designed for 24/7 operation with a mini- mum number of staff. The LASAR 40M is a part of the C-Scope family of underwater sensor portfolio. The LASAR 40M is optimized for surveillance of specific areas which need tem- porary protection. The sonar head can be deployed in several configurations including seabed mounting, jetty wall mounting and over the side deploy- ment. The LASAR 40M is well suited for fleet protection while at anchor. When naval forces participate in international operations they may have to call temporar- ily into forward and less secure bases bringing with them suitable systems for protection.
