The HTML 5 based mobile client for the Dynaway EAM module provides the maintenance department with fast and easy access to the complex information stored in the maintenance module. The mobile client provi-des access to information on objects, like counter values, approved spare parts, active service requests and an extensive object timeline. The client also provides access to work orders, jobs, forecasted hours, items and tools and allows the maintenance employee to perform checklists, consume items and post hours. The client can utilize advanced mobile features like Near Field Communication (NFC). Simply use the mobile device to write reference information for a maintenance object to an NFC tag, stick it on the maintenance object and now all that’s needed is to touch the tag with the mobile device, and the mobile EAM app will im-mediately launch and show the information registered about the object.
