• This is a low-cost mobile device for electronic gesture recognition as a human-machine interface.
• This enables the control of different applications by user’s eye gesture recognition.

• The present device can be operated in two primary modes:
▫ 1.Application interface mode
▫ 2.Stand alone mode

• Application Interface Mode:
In this mode the application interface is exposed at device side that enables the control of operation and data transmitting.
There are two sub-modes in this mode.
1. Gesture recognition sub-mode
2. Raw sub-mode

• Stand alone mode:
The successfully recognized eye gestures are mapped into a previously chosen set of pre-learned commands and transmitted over the one-way IR communication unit in order to trigger pre-programmed actions on the external device.

• The embedded software can be divided into three different layers
