NICK HARPER: At Milngavie Folk Club, Fraser Centre, Milngavie. To call Nick Harper a superlative singer/songwriter could put his highly lauded guitar talent in the shade, and to call him a guitarist's guitarist might slight his distinctive, soulful voice and passionate songs. For almost 2 decades, he has been dazzling audiences and reviewers alike with this heady mix of virtuosity, boyish charm, showmanship and sheer bravado. 2014 sees Nick touring the length and breadth of the UK in support of his 8th studio album 'Riven', an epic recording with legendary producer Tchad Blake at the helm. This July, we are pleased to welcome Nick back to Scotland. www.harperspace.com 26 JULY

We’re really proud of our Festival Programme this year; with more variety than ever, we’re sure you and your family will love it. There will be music for all tastes, from the inimitable jazz violinist Tim Kliphuis to the Scottish Tango Ensemble, and some of the country’s best Scottish traditional musicians, including the Occasionals, Highland Connection and Mike Vass, join us for a special charity concert in memory of talented fiddler Ian Hardie.
