The Colonnade Players presents Man of La Mancha, presented by special arrangement with TAMS-WITMARK (www.tamswhitmark.com) the classic musical and play-within-a-play based on the story of Don Quixote. Cervantes, is seeking a way to save the manuscript, so he proposes his defense in the form of a play. The "court" agrees to his proposal, so Cervantes and his manservant put on make-up and cos-tumes, transforming themselves into Don Quix-ote and Sancho Panza. They then proceed to

The Colonnade Players will be
holing auditions for the smash –hit
musical “Mamma Mia!”, a classical
juke-box musical featuring the
songs of ABBA. “Mamma Mia!”
tells the story of a young woman’s
search to discover who her birth
father is. We are seeking actors
ages 16+ to fill all roles in this large
ensemble show. Rehearsals will
begin on Monday, July 29, and
performances are September 13-22.
Auditions will be held Mon-
day, July 22 and Tuesday, July 23.
You only need to attend one night
of auditions. The dance audition
will begin promptly at 7:00pm, so
please arrive at 6:30pm to fill out
your audition form to get signed
What to bring:
Actors should prepare a 16-32 bar
cut in the style of (but not from)
the show. An accompanist will be
provided, and acapella singing is
not preferred, so please bring sheet
music for your cut in the key you
are prepared to sing it in.
Please dress to move, as all actors
will participate in a dance audition.
Bring a list of any schedule con-
flicts between July 29 and Septem-
ber. Any conflicts after September
5 may preclude you from considera-
tion in casting.

Jennifer Arbogast Wilson is
thrilled to be directing Mam-
ma Mia with the Colonnade
Players, after having appeared
in Songs for a New World last
fall! Jennifer is a professor in
the Music Department and
Professional Actor Training
Program at Chattanooga
State, where she teaches Ap-
plied Voice, Voice and Speech,
and Musical Theatre. She
holds a Doctor of Arts degree
in Vocal Performance with a
secondary emphasis in Speech
-Language Pathology from Ball
State University in Muncie,
Indiana. As a performer, direc-
tor, and musical director, Jen-
nifer has enjoyed working with
many local theatres, having
most recently music directed
productions of Annie (Signal
Mountain Playhouse) and Ave-
nue Q (Chattanooga Theatre
Centre). Some favorite local
roles include Anna Leonowens
in The King and I (SMPH), Lady
of the Lake in Spamalot (CTC),
Lily Craven in The Secret Gar-
den (Chatt State), and Lucy
Harris in Jekyll and Hyde
(Ensemble Theatre of Chatta-
nooga). Jennifer is so grateful
for the opportunity to work on
this fun show with a wonderful
team at The Colonnade.
