    Yesterday, Dan Albas, MP for Ok-Coq,on behalf of Western Economic Diversifi-cation, announced federal funding forupgrades to the Merritt Civic Ctre. The$128,000+ will help the City replace thelighting system, upgrade the main elec-trical system, replace the rooftop unit, in-stall an A/V system, restore the flooring& walls, and enhance the kitchen facili-ties to a commercial catering level.
