Tea Thyme™ ceramics add a festive splash ofcolor whether you’re entertaining or enjoyinga relaxing day at home. Fun, decorative, andfunctional—each piece is hand-painted inour Miami studio in the tradition of oldworld artisans.

Born in Santiago, Chile, Alexandra Guillard-Burdetthas always been surrounded by a love for artand design. In the early 1990’s she began

exploring the art of majolica (maiolica)and found that she had a passion for

painting ceramics. Fueled by demandfrom friends, family and local interest,what first began as a hobby eventually

grew into a business and in 1997 Tea Thyme was formally established.Its mission is to create unique,refreshing one-of-a-kind ceramics that are decorative yet functionalpieces of art. Artwork that can be appreciated as part of a room’s décor as well as partaking in an evening entertaining friends.

Tea Thyme ceramics are created in the traditionand care inspired by old world artisans.

Tea Thyme™ ceramics are hand-paintedoriginals and variations in color and designattest to the hand-crafted nature of our prod-ucts. Slight imperfections such as small paintsmudges or lids that are a little loose add tothe character and individuality of each piece.

Care & Usage

Tea Thyme™ ceramics are functional worksof art and should be handled with care.

All of Tea Thyme™ ceramics are food safeand non-toxic. Although dishwasher safe atlow heat we recommend the hand washingof fine ceramics. Use in conventional ovensand microwaves is not recommended. Avoidextreme shifts in temperature. As with allhand-painted ceramic dinnerware andaccessories, some crazing or discolorationof the glaze may occur over time. With proper care, your ceramics can provideyears of enjoyment.
